Congratulations to Killerspin Krew member Aleksandar Karakasevic and his doubles partner, Zolt Del!

After facing an upset against Shinnosuke Kiho of Japan on the third day of the tournament for the Singles title, Aleksandar Karakasevic of Serbia added yet another title to his successful table tennis career as the 2008 U.S. Open Men's Doubles Champion.

With partner Zolt Sel of Serbia Karakasevic defeated Jörg Rosskopf (Germany) and Thomas Keinath (Germany) in the finals, winning four games to one (-11,8,8,8,10).

This is Karakasevic's 6th U.S. Open Champion title. He previously won 2003 US Open Singles and Doubles, 2006 Singles and Doubles, and 2007 Singles. He will also be representing the Serbia in the upcoming 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
