Red Square is at the heart of Moscow, at the heart of Russia and during the Liebherr World Team Championships it is at the heart of table tennis.

Table tennis tables, appropriately situated on a red synthetic floor are there for all to use; the sport for all, is the sport for all in Moscow.

The Kremlin, the former royal citadel and currently the official residence of the President of Russia oversees the activity; the major streets of Moscow radiate from from Red Square in all directions linking with the major highways outside the city.

In the last week of May, table tennis radiates from Red Square, from Moscow, from the very heart of Russia.
